Portable fog catcher:
The Beatle
DESIGN BRIEF & OBJECTIVES
Initially inspired by biomimicry, fog is a resource that is not being exploited enough. Especially, in countries where water droughts occur frequently and to dramatic consequences. Using fog and converting it into clean water using nets has been a effective solution outside of cities. This design uses similar methods but offers it in a smaller, portable and effective solution suitable to city and rural area alike.

Website Mock-Ups
Wanting to fund the project via crowd sourcing, mock ups of the format and feel of the websites were created. Once the user has donated, NGOs are able to use there outreach within communities to donate the manuals with all the instructions on how to fabricate either a new or up-cycled version of the portable fog catcher.
Instructional Manual
Aiming to launch a manual and seeking sponsor ship would allow for funding and DIY for those who initially may not afford it. This is a example of how the manual would look once downloaded and printed.
